The Guild Weekly Update!
Alright it may seem that I've been slacking on the weekly updates and truth is I have, but many of you know I've been in and out of the state and on less and less recently. However! 3.3 is out and ICC with it! And also with that the new LFG system, and the addition to the 'random heroic' you can opt to do, for 1 Badge of Frost, the first time each day, AND 1 Triumph for each one you do after that. And with it not saving you to any given heroic, you can keep doing 'random heroics' and get plenty of Triupmh badges, so I'd love to see everyone farming those.

The guild will have a few peopel trying out the new encouters in ICC for a headsup for when we start taking the rest of the guild in there, so relax this month is going to be fairly slow for raiding due to the holidays and some peoples schooling etc. But we will be in the full swing of our casual hardcore raiding at the start of the new year. Untill then if its not on the calendar, plan to pug it, or get together with other guildies to make a group for it. If you feel ready to try Icecrown Cit. hit me up and we'll talk.

Also with the new patch is the introduction to 3 new 5 man instances in a winged style of running them, so really its a mini raid I like to call it. On normal it drops 219 ilvl gear, and heroic is 232 ilvl gear, so get in those as much as possible. Plus after playing them on the PTR they're hellah fun instances and suggest you check them out as soon as possible. Theres also a coupple new quest lines that require things in those dungeons so keep your eyes out for those!

Other than the new content comming out nothing else is really new with the guild. We've been consistantly downing 4/5 bosses in 1 shot on ToC25 and the few attempts we took at ToGC10 we're still sitting at 2/5 but we look forward to changing that soon, and again getting into ICC so we know exactly how to teach the guild and its members the mechanics and our strats.

We will be recording our attempts at ICC10 normal even if we dont down the boss so everyone can see a basic understanding of the fight and know what they're stepping into before they get all up in there. So keep an eye out for those. Next week I'll keep progression and anything else I feel is important up here on the site.

The Weekly Guild Update!

This week’s update is nothing but good news. This weeks 25 and 10 mans all went well. We had 3 separate groups clear ToC10, a full 25 guild members for Onyxia 25 ToC25 where we had our very first Twin Val’kyr kill and a few attempts at Anub’Arak.
So to everyone who was there for the new boss kill and even those who have gotten new gear this past week congratulations!

In addition our trial run welcomes a new member to our guild, Kronon we’re certain you’ll make a fine addition to our guild and we hope you enjoy it here with us!

Also everyone, some of you may already know I’ve been recording some of our boss fights, not the best quality, but still pretty good. Be sure to check them out on Youtube.com/DarknessRaiders and subscribe to the news not only on here but on youtube for any new videos we may post.

The Weekly Guild Update!

This week in Darkness Raiders

Wednesdays Trial run for the guild was outstanding, and we welcome two new members to the guild, Punkiebew & Shiranai. Everyone in the guild make them feel welcome, and to you two, we hope you enjoy it here and we're sure you'll make a fine addition to our guild.

Other news!

This past week in Trial of the Crusader 25 player we downed Faction Champions for the fist time! Congratulations to everyone! We attempted the twins a few times but by that time in the night people were fading and had to leave so hopefully next week we'll know what to expect and head in there ready to go and get it down!

Also! Our very first full guild Ony25 kill, its been a few weeks of scrambling and trying to get people on to do it and having to pug people and not being able to do it, but we finnaly got it down and again gratz to everyone!

So everything overall this week was well, some people got some new gear, "The guild is now 13% better now that Ni has antlers"(very carefully calculated), we saw some new stuff we haven't seen before and we're all very happy with the direction the guild is going. Keep at it guys, we have nowhere to go but up!

I do still encourage people to keep recruiting the weekly trial runs are going great and we have two people ready to go for this weeks trial run already so we'll see how that goes, hopefully we'll be adding two more new people to our guild on Wednesday. I would also like ya'll to get other guildies to start and keep using the website more regularly theres only a few handfulls of people who do now, but I feel this is a great resource for the guild and everyone should take advantage of it!

The Weekly Guild Update!
Every Tuesday I'm going to try and put out a quick little weekly update about the guild and the site.

As many of you have noticed on the calendar in game I've not only put up the raids for the entire month, and have also created 'Guild Announcement' displaying on ever characters calendar in the guild showing what raid the guild is doing when. In doing this if anyone is on an alt or on a toon that doesn't have an invite for the raid that day, they can still know what the guild will be doing on that day. Remember every Wednesday is our 'Darkness Raiders Trial Run' where we take 8 officers and class leaders to a toc10 run with 2 applicants of the guild to see if they meet expectations, if we meet theirs, and if they enjoy raiding with us. Take note majority of the guildies in this run, have alternates who are geared for toc10 or higher and will still be running with the guild on the designated guild run day on Thursdays, so we won't be losing any spots due to someone being saved.

Also wanna point out some selling points on the website so we can get as many guildies active on it as possible.
This website has plently of ammenities up on here. Just to list a few, server status, vent status, web searches and others related to the game.

-Such as DKP listings and usage, upcoming raids and the ability to accept or decline or even say what toon you're comming on and what role you'll be playing (healer, tank dps).

-Class specific forums, guides and advice, and many other forums that you can take advantage of. Pick your class leaders brain people aren't officers and class leaders for nothing, use their knowledge to better yourselves!

-The website also lists all recent loot from what raids and who was there, so even if you couldn't make it, you can still see who got some new stuff. Even screenshots and galleries of raids and soon some videos!

So for those of you who are regular visitors to the website and are active on it, I thank you, and ask you to encourage your other guildies to do the same! We spent a lot of time getting this set up and making it the way we wanted it and don't want just the same 5 people using it when it could be so much bigger!
